NVIDIA Shield

Earlier we spoke about the new upcoming NVIDIA Shield handheld gaming device which is just awesome. Well now a launch price for the gaming console has been announced by NVIDIA earlier this week for $349. The NVIDIA Shield will be available for pre-order from a range of retailers from the 20th of May, including Newegg, GameStop, Micro Center and Canada Computers. As we mentioned earlier that the NVIDIA Shield is equipped with a 5-inch HD display and a resolution of 1280×720 pixels which has been designed to play with Android and PC games. The Shield is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor and supported by 2GB RAM. Some other features include a 802.11n WiFi, 16GB of onboard storage, GPS support, mini HDMI connection, Bluetooth 3.0, microSD card slot, micro USB 2.0 and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
